Senior Cyber Placement Broker

Serves in a capacity handling Cyber/E&O FINEX accounts. Key roles of this individual include advising clients on the cyber insurance marketplace and providing guidance on appropriate risk transfer options to align with client’s cyber risk management philosophy. Assists in developing and participating in the growth strategy for the region. Acts as a thought leader and contributes to business objectives, including relationship building with carriers. Ability to work independently. Manages a complex book of business, consisting of a range of small to large cyber/E&O programs for FINEX clients.

The Role

Function as a senior resource on large and complex cyber accounts within the practice; participate in client communications/conference calls/meetings Stay up to date on cyber market trends and their impact to cyber insurers portfolios and client Provide technical expertise on cyber insurance policies, including all key primary and excess policies Develop and maintain relationships with underwriters and business development personnel at cyber insurers Maintain a significant book of business Perform policy contract reviews; negotiate competitive terms and conditions Contribute to business growth objectives (e.g., participate in RFP responses/presentations, attend proactive sales meetings, place new business opportunities) Assist in achieving the goals and objectives of the Canadian and NA Cyber practice and FINEX North America Act as a thought leader (e.g., contribute to FINEX content, representing the Cyber Team and Willis Towers Watson on industry panels, webinars, social media, etc.)  Contribute to the development of a growth strategy for Canada Manage pipeline of prospects and updating financial reports for senior management Collaborate with other LOBs to cross sell products and services Foster relationships with existing and prospective clients Assist FINEX and CRB colleagues with cross-sell efforts

The Requirements

High school diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred5+ years (or equivalent) of experience in underwriting or brokingRIBO license requiredTechnical knowledge of insurance contracts/structureKnowledge and understanding of global Cyber marketplaceKnowledge of and experience working with Cyber, E&O and Intellectual Property insurance products, Strong leadership and mentorship skillsEnhanced client service skillsAbility to provide expert, in-depth advice to client resulting in overall client satisfactionStrong presentation skills
