The Senior Staff Accountant - Corporate Taxation will assist with quarterly and year-end tax provisions, focusing on ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes. This role reports to the Associate Director of Tax, a seasoned professional dedicated to supporting your success. While experience with OneSource Tax Provision is preferred, it is not required.

Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and review of quarterly and year-end tax provisionsCollaborate with the accounting team on ASC 740 and tax provision calculationsWork with our outside accounting firm on financial audits and the filing of our yearly tax returnReview and ensure the accuracy of tax returnsParticipate in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver quality and timely tax servicesProvide support and assistance to other members of the tax team as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a comparable field2+ years of relevant work experience with exposure to ASC 740Comprehensive understanding of tax law with ability to proficiently perform tax research when necessaryProficiency in reviewing federal and state C-corporation tax returns

Preferred Qualifications:

CPA and/or MSTAdvanced Excel skills Exposure to OneSource Tax Provision software

 

 

*This position could be offered at different levels for candidates who qualify with a combination of advanced levels of education and/or years of experience.  The salary range will adjust along with the level of the role to match the person’s relevant experience and/or education level.
