Job Description
We are looking for a conceptual senior copywriter to play a leading role creating integrated campaigns for one of South Africa’s biggest FMCG brands.
You’re a seasoned creative with the ability to collaborate with strategy, understand the modern media landscape and execute with craft and attention to detail across multiple touchpoints.
Working across a range of consumer brands from brief to execution you will work on
everything from television to radio, digital display to social, outdoor to point of sale.
In this role you’ll have access to all sorts of cool production toys and skills, so being a maker and a creator is a big plus.
You understand global brands and how they connect with consumers in local markets.You thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with periods of high-volume workload and short turnaround times.You are comfortable adapting your style and voice to connect with different market segments.You have a bit of a thing for retail and how brands create unique experiences for consumers across a range of retail environments.You consume both digital and traditional media, from good old-fashioned radio to the hottest new niche on TikTok.QualificationsMinimum 7 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work that demonstrates craft, conceptual thinking and integrated thinking.Exceptional writing and research skill – grammar is your friend and you’re comfortable editing narrative and proofing copy. Strong presentation and communication skills.Confident running recordings for film or radio.Ability to work independently and with a team to meet deadlines.Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.Social media or content marketing experience a plus.A keen eye for detail and appreciation of great brand design.Additional Information
