Senior Coordinator - HRIS

Job DescriptionResponsible for auditing system transactions including hiring paperwork, personnel files, and personnel action notices to ensure appropriate approvals, documentation, and pay rates are accurateInitiate and/or review PRF’s that is requested by managementInitiate rehires PANs for Employees that will be returning.Assist with employees with questions that may include updating marital status, name changes (new badges), address change, work cards, and immigration employment verification.Assist employees with work authorization reverification including company completion of I-9 documentation.Initiates transactions such as position requisitions, transfers, staffing compendium requests, and pay rate changes related to employment agreements.Assist with monitoring the HRIS inbox and resolve assigned HRIS issue(s).Answer incoming calls and assist or re-direct as needed.Assist employees that have questions relating to updating marital status, name changes (new badges), address change, work cards, and immigration employment verification.Assist employees with work authorization reverification including company completion of I-9 documentation.Order supplies and maintain spreadsheet with the costAppropriately handles confidential employee documentation, making sure records are stored appropriately.Initiate Personal Action Notices (PANs) as requested by management.Create employee log-ins on the Gaming Control Board online system of records for registration renewals.Track and submit Gaming Control Board registration renewals, new applications and change of location/additional work applications, investigate discrepancies, and terminate employees on gaming websiteAssist with overseeing HR Admin light duty employees with scanning and filings making sure records are stored appropriately. Assist with HOTSOS tickets.All other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequires a minimum of one-year clerical experience in a high-volume office environment.  Previous experience in HR preferred, but not requiredA High School diploma or equivalent is required.Proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Word and Excel is required, advanced skills are preferred.Oracle/PeopleSoft experience preferred.Must have excellent communication and customer service skills as well as telephone etiquette.Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.Exposure to sensitive information and must use considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can think dynamically.Must be able to work proficiently with deadlines and disciplined to work without constant guidance and supervision.Must be 21 years of age or older.

Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
