As a Business Area Controller (BAC), you will play a vital role in ensuring financial performance and operational effectiveness within your assigned business areas. You will manage activities such as financial forecasting, budgeting, quarter-end close, cost allocations, and more. Building trustful business partnerships with leaders, you’ll deliver insights and drive meaningful actions to support decision-making and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Compliance: Lead forecasting, budgeting, and cost allocation processes, ensuring compliance with financial guidelines and driving transparency. Business Partnership & Insights: Build strong partnerships with leaders, providing in-depth analysis, key messages, and actionable recommendations to achieve financial targets and mitigate risks. Process Improvement & Projects: Drive process simplification, automation, and agile methodologies within Controlling for Engineering and Support business areas. Strategic Support: Prepare and validate strategic and operational business cases, supporting transformation efforts and ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.This is your opportunity to contribute to a high-impact team, actively applying an agile mindset while fostering innovation and excellence within a global environment.
What you’ll bring
5 or more years of Financial Planning & Analysis or Business Management experience. Diploma, bachelor or similar degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or Economics related studies. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights. High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy in reporting and compliance. Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced skills in Excel or other data analysis tools. Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders and convey financial information clearly. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger finance team, with a collaborative mindset. Fluency in both written and verbal English
