PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

BAC Services MEE, as part of the Global Controlling team, is responsible to actively manage the P&Ls for Market Units, as well as being a trusted advisor and reliable business partner to the respective Services business leaders. To successfully manage this task and to further strengthen our support towards the different market units, we are looking for a (Senior) Controller focusing on Industry Division Controlling as well as driving key steering dimensions through a holistic management reporting to support business leaders.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Act as trusted Business Partner and support the Industry Division Management to successful steer business Support the MU SPOC and communicate proactively with key business stakeholders within the MU Drive business critical controlling activities (reporting, analysis, budgeting, forecasting, closing activities) and act as SPOC for special topics (e.g. Budget Transfers and Master Data maintenance) Deliver high-quality analyses on MU forecast, latest estimate, and quarterly actuals, and coordinate (reporting) processes within the team and other finance / business teams Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in financial management to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement Close interaction with the Specialized Services Controlling team, BAC Cross team and other departments like Global CS&D Controlling, Operations etc. on all services controlling related topics Participate in strategic projects, especially in the context of simplification / automation
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
University degree or the equivalent in business administration or economics related studies Excellent analytical and strong problem-solving skills Strong sense of prioritization, results and execution focused Good knowledge of Services business / Experience with budget and forecast processes is a plus Comfort with working in both a team and independently showing significant own initiative Strong experience with common SAP applications (e.g. ISP, BW) as well as MS Excel and MS PowerPoint Ability to prepare and present complex analysis consumable to senior/executive management Fluent English language skills oral and written, German is a plus 5+ years of professional work experience with a focus on controlling and accounting processes
