Senior Content Designer - Payments

The Role Netflix is looking to hire a Senior Content Designer to work on consumer-facing payment initiatives. This team focuses on building scalable payment experiences and introducing new payment solutions for a global audience. This role will work closely with a stunning team of designers, product managers, engineers and researchers to help millions of members around the world enjoy Netflix. The Role As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll create clear, scalable product experiences that minimize friction and help Netflix speak meaningfully to a global audience. You’ll work on how our global members pay for Netflix, what happens if they run into a payment issue, and many more consumer-facing opportunities. On the Content Design team, you’ll help identify and lead opportunities to scale tools and tasks to effectively collaborate across teams and build consistent experiences. The Team You’ll join a tight, collaborative group of Content Designers who work side-by-side with Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Analysts. You’ll also partner with our Globalization team to make our product amazing around the world. Your Skills + You excel at communicating in simple and meaningful ways + You provide both strategic direction and hands-on writing, and know how to create clear, concise user experiences + You’re passionate about systems thinking and have a track record of spotting areas to scale content design thinking + You thrive in ambiguity and have experience identifying opportunities for product and process improvement + You are comfortable advocating for your point of view in our candid, feedback-driven culture + You balance and manage feedback from multiple stakeholders and apply sound judgment in incorporating revisions Qualifications + 5+ years of relevant writing experience: content strategy, UX writing, short-form digital + Analytical thinking about customer journeys and content flows, framing, and scaling content design solutions + Experience with payments and consumer products, specializing in working on global brands/ experiences, writing for different audiences/ skill levels is a definite plus + Comfortable with A/B testing: Forming a hypothesis, designing a test, and building off results + Mastery of AP style and the confidence to know when to break the rules + Highly collaborative and self-directed + Proficiency in languages other than English is always a plus Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $120,000-$515,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
