Principal responsibilities

Mainframe development is the main condition, also specializing in Core Banking product features and Java development. Feasibility Study: Participate in feasibility studyParticipate in estimation and Requirement analysis. Assist in development/evolution of estimation templatesProvide guidance and suggestions on, fine tuning the performance of application, provide technical consultancy to project teams.Promote usage of right tools, explore the possibilities of effective and flexible tools and develop components / tools for itDesign Coding: Develop / review the technical design. Primarily Guide and mentor team. Develop code if requiredReviews: Conduct review of design/code/test plan, test results and deployment as per plan. Work on automating the reviews.Suggest and validate best practices across the SDLC and assist in implementing them along with standardsCommunicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projectsConducing Technical training and mentoring and knowledge sharing. Identify potential Specialist from the teamsCreate and implement reuse charter for the projects supported. Promote the usage of repositoriesUpdate with future technology / application trends, collaborate with Architect / Project teams and provide feedback.

Good analytical, mathematical and strong problem solving skills, Able to work under pressure, demonstrate enthusiasm and learn quickly Able to provide excellent technical / application solutions.Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin., good customer interaction and continuously work on enhancing the technical / application competency of team members.
