Senior Consultant – PEGA – 3x Roles

Cognizant is a member of Pega's Partner Advisory Council, and our Enterprise Platform Services (EPS) practice contains the largest and longest running Pega practice in the world, with over two decades of partnership.

The Position

To augment our Pega delivery and practice team and technically consult to a cornerstone financial services client, Cognizant is hiring 3 PEGA Senior Consultants (8+ years of overall experience).

Ideally, you would have excellent technical engineering and low-level design experience, with track-record in PEGA consulting and hands-on implementations.

As a hands-on Pega Senior Developer, you will be responsible for leading a small team of developers designing and implementing Pega solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will also provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, conducting code reviews and contributing to the overall technical strategy of the customer organisation.

Responsibilities

Be actively involved in PEGA development and configuration activities Ensure that system architecture leverages Pega's out-of-the-box functionality to the maximum extent Provide technical guidance to individual developers Adhere to Client Project standards and documentation requirements while updating the relevant documents Work and assist Pega Engagement Lead LSA in solution design and planning Conduct code reviews and capture and address feedback Work closely with Lead Pega business architects during playback sessions and capture feedback Ensure implementations are performed per Pega Guardrails Report status as required to customer and Project Manager

Requirements

PCSSA (Pega Certified Senior System Architect) certification or equivalent experience Background in software development, and familiarity with mainstream programming & database technologies (Java, Oracle) 8+ years’ of experience working with PEGA and/or similar enterprise applications Domain knowledge in Banking and Financial Services (non-mandatory) Agile/ Scrum project implementation experience Prior experience technically leading a small team as a Senior Developer or Technical Lead.
