The opportunity
As a FAAS Senior, you will be a professional member of our team, with seniors representing both the core and future of our practice. In Canada, our FAAS team consists of dedicated financial reporting and accounting advisory professionals, along with practitioners with analytics and systems skills, in a number of locations across the country. Our team members combine technical accounting skills, practical experience in financial reporting processes, cost and management accounting, performance management, systems and analytics, as well as deep industry experience. Working alongside this team is the opportunity you’ve been looking for to grow and both deepen and broaden your skillset.
Your key responsibilities
As a FAAS FO Senior, you will help finance leaders meet challenges that their teams are currently facing. You will work with them to achieve their potential acquisition, divestiture, process optimization, process digitization and accounting standard implementation. You will offer them innovative advice for optimizing processes, using cutting-edge technologies and creating value for their organizations.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce, business administration, or data analysis/management Minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience Experience in financial accounting or audit, financial/business analysis, or process optimization/process documentation Experience in using software tools such as the MS Office suite, process documentation (e.g., Visio, LucidChart), financial/data modeling, data analytics (e.g., Python) Highly adaptable and open to change Integrity within a professional environmentIdeally, you’ll also have
A professional accounting designation such as a CPA or equivalent The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment French language skills are an assetWhat we look for
