About the role:
This is an opportunity for an individual with fund administration experience to join the Third Party Oversight team, who are the main point of oversight and escalation for NTAM’s third parties. This 1st line role at Vice President (VP) level will ensure the smooth running of operations with key third party relationships - mainly the fund administrator, depositaries, and custodian for NTAM funds - utilising strong relationship and stakeholder management skills to do so.
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with high attention to detail, and will be involved in driving forward the oversight and vendor management model for key service providers globally.
Key responsibilities:
Perform ongoing oversight of key service providers.Ensure deliverables are managed to deadlines and in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs).Support and lead due diligence meetings and service review meetings.Monitor performance and issues, reporting and escalating in a timely and accurate manner.Manage incidents through to resolution, building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders at both a local and global level to act as an internal escalation point for complex issues.Track and support the remediation of emerging operational risks or near misses by third parties, and ensure measures are implemented to prevent a reoccurrence.Conduct thematic reviews and trend analysis.Create and present management information (MI), dashboards, and reports to senior stakeholders and governance forums.Drive critical third party deep dives.Further improve and maintain a robust global governance framework and oversight model for third party relationships – including SLAs, service level documents, KPIs and due diligence questionnaires.Provide guidance and expertise to stakeholders to ensure compliance with the NT Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) framework and procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.Support the implementation of changes to address regulations related to outsourced activities.Required Skills/ Experience:
Comprehensive experience in a fund administration or third party oversight role at a global asset manager.Knowledge of service provider requirements supporting Front, Middle and Back Office investment management services, including risk assessments, due diligence, service oversight, and governance of critical third parties.Good knowledge of the UK and EU regulatory environment, in particular the CBI Outsourcing Guidelines (CP138) and other regulations related to third party management and vendor risk management.Experience of reviewing SLAs, KPIs, and NAV production, and leading service reviews and due diligence reviews.Working operational knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD products is a distinct advantage.Valuable competencies:
Team player with superior relationship building skills, with the ability to quickly gain trust and manage stakeholders effectively both internally (within a highly matrixed and global operating model) and externally with third parties.Ability to work on own initiative and support other team members as required.A keen eye for detail.Good IT skills, including Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to manage data for analysis, documentation, and reporting purposes.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and presentation skills.Ability to multitask, quickly assess issues, propose solutions and convey complex information in a simple way in a fast paced environment across a wide range of stakeholders.Working with Us:
