\nResponsibilities\nServe as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in specific solutions design and sector-specific skills/tools, particularly in the Technology Sector, VMI, I2M, and Simulation for the APAC region.\nLead/support the SD workstream in pursuing new business and renewing existing ones.\nDevelop solutions and provide analytical support for implementation/re-engineering of key strategic projects and communicate objectives to the team.\nIndependently manage solution design resources for business growth and improvement, and budget.\nEstablish optimal costing and commercialization for new and existing business.\nLead and coach the team in resource calculation, costing tools, and compliance with the DHL Supply Chain Solution Design process.\nCollaborate closely with the operations team on project implementation.\nSet clear priorities and focus on efforts that add significant value.\nWork closely with the business development (BD) and sector teams on proposing solution design needs.\nEnsure proposed solutions maintain the highest levels of operational safety.\nChampion assigned practice/solution SME by building depth through research, application, team development, training, and engagement in relevant projects.\nOutline solutions and commercial proposals for presentation to internal stakeholders and customers and participate in customer presentations as required.\nMaintain effective communication across the business.\nActively seek to understand and apply innovations in facilities, fleet, technology, or safety to solutions.\nPromote a culture of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).\nEnsure quality of Concept of Operations documentation. \nEnsure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.\n\n

Degree or Masters in relevant discipline\n3 to 5 years with relevant experience in solutions design management / Up to 7 years of relevant experience in logistic/transport industry.\n\n\n
Required Skillset
\n\nProject management and planning skills.\nFull understanding of all Solutions Design tools, techniques and procedures\nWarehouse, transport and supply chain operational knowledge at a detailed level.\nExposure to modeling of complex warehousing or domestic transport network, logistics / transport operations, etc.\nExperience in at least one modeling / simulation tool \nProficient in Microsoft excel to perform complex data analysis\n
