EY’s Infrastructure Advisory (IA) team in Sydney offer a supportive environment where government clients receive expert advice on strategy, policy reform, investment decisions, and transaction processes. We're on the lookout for talented individuals who are eager to contribute and lead the growth of our team.

 

The IA team contributes to building a better working world by helping clients improve the performance of their capital investment decisions, achieve their strategic and policy objectives and deliver value to the Australian public.

 

We provide support across the reform lifecycle, from initial policy development through to procuring major infrastructure, including:

Supporting government decision-making through economic and financial analysis that addresses strategic policy reform and regulatory issues, including market reforms Developing cutting-edge strategies and business cases to support government investments Providing quality commercial and procurement advice across the transaction lifecycle, from go to market planning and industry engagement through to financial close and beyond

As a valued member of the team you will:

Provide insightful commercial, economic, and strategic policy advice to a diverse client base. Craft clear, well-structured reports and presentations. Utilise analytical models to evaluate costs, benefits, and impacts. Contribute to business development with top-notch proposals. Play a role in managing client engagements. Foster meaningful relationships with clients and industry professionals.

 

What we’re looking for

Here’s our ‘wish list’, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.

2-4 years of relevant industry experience. A keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians. Clear thinking and communication skills, with a knack for both quantitative and qualitative analysis. A proactive, positive attitude and a collaborative spirit. Experience with government entities or a strong interest in pursuing this path.
