Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an experienced Contruction Project Manager to help work and grow our NJ Market. Some of the responsibilities include:
Support the Construction Department Lead and collaborate with the local leadership team.
Manage projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality and safety outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction.
Develop strategy, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and execute projects.
Support the execution of strategies, major proposals, and interviews.
Provide direction and oversight to AECOM staff and subcontractors.
Promote an environment that promotes project safety protocols.
Establishes operational objectives and work plans, delegates assignment to subordinate managers.
Reviews objectives to determine success of operation.
Develops, modifies, executes company polices that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effect.
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
BA/BS + 10 years of related construction experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership. Must have experience working with NJDOT, NJTA and other clients within NJ and the surrounding NY Metro Clients. Professional Engineering License in NJ and NYPreferred requirements:
15 years of experience working on construction projects in construction management, 4 years of in a leadership role.OSHA 30-hour safety course certification preferred, or ability to obtain within six months. Also have Certification NJSAT, ACI Field, and TCCDemonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence and project success.Demonstrated experience of winning work.
