CEIS | Clover Leaf Solutions is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer (Electrical) to provide engineering support for large-scale electrical construction projects. This role is responsible for ensuring construction activities meet safety, quality, cost, and scheduling requirements, while coordinating with multiple teams including design, procurement, security, safety, operations, and quality control. The ideal candidate will ensure all aspects of electrical construction are executed according to project specifications and operational guidelines.

Responsibilities: Provide engineering support to superintendents and craft teams, verifying materials, equipment, and workmanship meet design and regulatory standards. Ensure all electrical construction activities are executed safely, with the highest quality standards, while managing cost and schedule adherence. Interface and coordinate with design, procurement, security, safety, operations, health physics, and quality control to ensure seamless execution. Develop construction scope turnover packages and oversee system completion and testing activities to align with the project turnover schedule. Prepare and manage work packages, ensuring craft teams understand specific requirements and execution plans. Maintain continuity with quality control teams to ensure all work meets compliance and project requirements. Coordinate with design agencies to facilitate timely issuance of new designs or required design changes. Lead the constructability program, providing technical expertise on electrical construction methods and best practices. Ensure all construction work is executed correctly and completely, resolving any technical challenges. Provide technical and programmatic guidance to junior construction engineering personnel as needed. Administer and oversee subcontract activities, ensuring compliance with contract documents, materials, and workmanship standards. Perform construction testing and startup services, supporting system verification and turnover. Handle nonconformance reports and corrective action requests to address deviations from project specifications. Design temporary construction facilities as required by management. Assist in defining maintenance requirements for permanent plant electrical equipment. Qualifications: Required: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline with 5-7 years of construction engineering experience OR Associate’s degree with 7-9 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma with 10-14 years of practical experience. General knowledge of system testing and operations to support pre-operational testing and system turnover. Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance (an active clearance is not initially required). Preferred: Candidates with an active or recent DOE "L" or "Q" security clearance (within the past 2 years) are preferred. Leadership training in methods improvement is desirable. Work Schedule: Standard 40-hour workweek with flexible scheduling options (5/8s, 4/10s, or 9/80s). Overtime may be required to meet project deliverables at the discretion of management.
