The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the ConnectShip and related shipping solutions in a production environment. This role requires advanced troubleshooting skills, in-depth knowledge of ConnectShip architecture, and a proactive approach to ensuring seamless shipping operations for the business. **Key Responsibilities:** **ConnectShip System Administration:** + Manage and maintain ConnectShip server environments, including installation, configuration, and patch management. + Ensure the stability and performance of ConnectShip components and related integrations. **Production Support:** + Provide 24/7 support for production issues related to ConnectShip and associated systems. + Troubleshoot and resolve complex shipping-related errors, ensuring minimal downtime. + Monitor system performance and logs to proactively identify and resolve issues. **Process Optimization:** + Work with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize ConnectShip configurations, including Ship Via codes, carrier modules, and shipping rules. + Develop and document best practices for ConnectShip operations and maintenance. **Collaboration and Communication:** + Serve as a point of contact between business teams, carriers, and IT for shipping-related requirements. + Provide regular updates to stakeholders regarding production incidents and resolutions. **Data Management:** + Generate and analyze reports on shipping performance and system activity. + Manage and ensure the accuracy of shipping label configurations and tracking number mappings. **Compliance and Security:** + Ensure compliance with carrier regulations and company policies. + Implement security best practices and safeguards for ConnectShip environments. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + 5+ years of experience in production support, with a focus on ConnectShip or similar shipping software solutions. + Expertise in ConnectShip components, including PMC and carrier module configurations. + Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly with ConnectShip logs, IIS, and system-level diagnostics. + Experience with SQL Server, XML, and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Batch) for data extraction and automation. + Familiarity with shipping carrier systems (e.g., UPS, FedEx, USPS) and related compliance requirements. + Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. + Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Knowledge of .NET, C#, and web services related to ConnectShip integrations. + Experience with E2Open or other shipping platforms is a plus. + Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management practices. **What We Offer:** + Competitive salary and benefits package. + Opportunities for career growth and professional development. + A collaborative and innovative work environment.
