Senior Compliance Specialist (Minneapolis)

**Description** The Senior Compliance Specialist will lead various environmental air permitting, analysis, and compliance projects. This position will lead multi-media environmental compliance audits; environmental site assessments; mitigation measure implementation, write and edit plans for various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.
+ Presents summaries of regulations and determines the applicability to a client’s operations.
+ Lead site audits, incident investigations and other company initiative audits.
+ Presents environmental regulatory knowledge and experience to develop effective strategies and solutions to current and future technical and regulatory issues on projects.
+ Apply state and federal regulatory developments (proposed and promulgated rule making, notices, etc.), trends (regulatory and intra company), and presents impacts of applicable regulatory requirements.
+ Review emissions calculations and background documentation.
+ Approve utilization of compliance tools and remediation project strategies.
+ Build and maintain effective relationships with existing clients, customers and contractors and develop new business opportunities.
+ Lead sales and marketing efforts and identify key pursuits.
+ Responsible for ensuring revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
+ Lead the development of cost proposals and qualification statements to achieve stated targets and standards for financial performance. Present project budgets and cost estimates.
+ Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to the department.
+ Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.
+ Performs other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor Degree in Environmental Science or related field from an accredited program and 8 years of environmental compliance experience Required or
+ Applicable experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Required
+ Experience working with commercial and industrial clients is preferred.
+ Advanced knowledge of environmental regulatory guidelines.
+ Previous consulting experience, including hazardous site assessment experience, such as Phase I, Phase II, and remediation.
+ Knowledge of OSHA and CERCLA understanding in remedial design.
+ OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required.
+ Ability to establish effective working relationships with clients, contractors, co-workers, and other professionals.
+ Expert analytical and problem solving skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Excellent project management skills.
+ Expert oral and written communication skills, technical writing skills and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
+ Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Office are required.

+ Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
+ Valid driver's license Required
**Compensation**
$125,000.00-170,000.00 Annually
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
