The Compensation team designs and manages programs to motivate and retain top talent and enable our Pay for Performance philosophy. Our work impacts every employee globally through the programs we administer. As part of the Total Rewards function, the Global Compensation team strives to provide a consistent and inclusive experience for all DoorDash employees, regardless of their location, background, or job responsibility.

About the Role

The Compensation Consultant will play a key role in the development, implementation, and management of DoorDash's compensation strategy to help us shape our future. You will provide leadership in scaling compensation programs for one of our core business areas, and contribute to the development of initiatives for the unique employee populations on these teams. Your work will help guide the continued development of DoorDash's compensation programs as we scale. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because… You will contribute to the development of DoorDash's compensation strategy and programs, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business and employees you support, as well as align with the company's Total Rewards philosophy You will support DoorDash teams as a strategic partner and compensation expert through data-driven decisions, applying your extensive knowledge and staying abreast of industry best practices, benchmarks, and current compensation trends You will identify opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning applications to improve and find efficiencies in compensation processes  You will be responsible for leading, managing, and assessing the implementation and ongoing oversight of DoorDash's compensation programs, policies, plans, and processes You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and ensure compliance with reporting and global, federal, state, and local regulatory requirements We’re excited about you because… You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Math or a related field  You have 8+ years of experience focused on developing and scaling compensation programs, ideally within a tech or high-growth company  You can translate vision into executable strategy and have a keen ability to deliver against a plan with an operational mindset You have exceptional stakeholder management skills, and are a strong communicator who can lead with influence, navigate ambiguity, and build trust across technical and non-technical teams You have strong business acumen, data analysis skills and a deep understanding of equity/stock compensation You can apply change management and thrive in an evolving business while staying anchored to your goals and the Total Rewards strategy You are comfortable with emerging HR technologies, including AI-driven platforms for data analytics, market intelligence, or compensation benchmarking  

We expect this position to be filled by 7/1/2025.
