Associa is currently looking for aSenior Community Association Manager (CAM) to join our team in signal Hill, CA. As a Senior Community Association Manager, you will be responsible for providing the overall supervision of a community association. The Community Manager II interacts with internal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, board members and committee members, as well as staff at the Associa Client Shared Service Center (CSSC) and within the branch office. To be successful in this role you will need great customer service skills and the ability to work on multiple projects.

\n\nHow will you make an impact?
\n\nThe Community Association Manager (CAM) helps the company grow by:
\n\n\nSupervising the operation and administration of the Association in accordance with management agreement and the Association's policies and procedures.\n\n\nActing as or overseeing the primary liaison with the Association Board of Directors and homeowners as needed.\n\n\nPerforming/Directing administrative and management duties as requested by the Board of Directors and in accordance with the management agreement. \n\n\nEnsuring Associa community management tools are being effectively developed and utilized such as annual calendar, action item list, resolution worksheets, timed agenda\n\n\nReviewing monthly financial reports and ensuring management summary is submitted to the association Board of Directors.\n\n\nProviding and/or overseeing recommendations to the Association Board of Directors and committees regarding major capital expenditures as required to maintain the desired community appearance and operation.\n\n\nMonitoring corporate and client delinquency rates and collections process for account portfolio.\n\n\nAttending Board meetings per the management agreement and community events as needed. \n\n\nPreparing Board packages according to established time frames. \n\n\nEnsuring Board of Directors is aware of legal actions involving the Association. \n\n\nMaintaining unit and contract files relating to the operations of the Association. \n\n\nAssisting Board of Directors/ARB with architectural review process and/or routine inspections as necessary. \n\n\nResponsible for maintenance of C3 data base, including updating resident information. \n\n\nResponsible for routine and special project vendor management including procurement as well as performance evaluation as contracted. \n\n\nResponsible for oversight of Associa staff as contract provides.\n\n\nCoordinating and/or overseeing inspection of building facilities and/or common area and arrange appropriate follow up actions as required. \n\n\nOverseeing the AP process in accordance with Associa home office processes and procedures.\n\n\n\n Requirements\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)\n\n\nExperience in Community Management, customer service, hospitality or other related industry\n\n\nProficiency in typical business correspondence (grammar, structure, punctuation, spelling, etc.).\n\n\nProficient in Customer Service and conflict resolution\n\n\nAble to work effectively with others in person and in group setting\n\n\nAble to prioritize, manage time, and meet deadlines.\n\n\nAble to communicate effectively and professionally on phone, email, and in-person\n\n
