What you'll do Cloud Services Engineer plays a key role in the implementation, management, support, and maintenance of Docusign’s Cloud infrastructure and services. An ideal candidate is an experienced engineer that has proven expertise in development and implementation of Observability and CI/CD automation, while partnering with different engineering teams. We invest in tooling, automation, and infrastructure that reduces friction for engineers to develop and manage software and services. The successful candidate must be self-directed and self-motivated, yet capable of taking instruction and feedback. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Observability. Responsibility Build, scale, and secure services using innovative Observability and CI/CD solutions Partner with engineering teams to ensure internal customer success Exhibit a customer-centric approach to requests and responses, collaborate with other members for practical and scalable solutions to problems Design and provide operational and infrastructural requirements that promote uptime, speed and security at all phases of SDLC on a global scale Support services from inception to delivery by bringing a cross-stack eye towards System Design, Self Service, Scale, Automation, Capacity and Reliability Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic 6+ years in software engineering, DevSecOps or similar role and experience with building and deploying critically important applications and IT solutions Experience in collaborating with developers and IT professionals to develop, solve, analyze and resolve problems Experience developing Observability/Telemetry solutions using Ansible, Datadog, Splunk, Terraform and other similar tools Experience developing secure CI/CD workflows using Github Actions, Docker, Code Deploy, ArgoCD, JFrog and other similar tools Experience working with and setting up developer platform tools such as backstage, port, spacelift, etc Experience working with and setting up secrets management tool like Hashicorp Vault ● 6+ years experience developing in a modern programming language (Python, Golang, Java) Good understanding of software development best practices from appropriate testing paradigms to effective peer code reviews and resilient architectures Proficiency with at least one cloud provider (preferably AWS or Azure) Experience in application release management with building and deploying application code to containers and servers Experience building integration platforms/infrastructure to seamlessly integrate with 3rd party applications Preferred Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into meaningful dashboards, while also documenting observability solutions Experience with configuration management tools at scale such as Ansible or AWS SSM Good understanding of Cloud Security Experience working on a Scrum team in an Agile delivery environment Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant experience Demonstrated track record working with geographically dispersed teams Strong communication and organizational skills Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
