What we’re looking for:
EHE is looking for a talented Senior Cloud Engineer who will become a critical part of a team of seasoned application developers and infrastructure engineers. The Senior Cloud Engineer will build the platform for the next generation of ground-breaking healthcare platforms which support both our clinical processes and engaging consumers in their healthcare journey.
We are looking for an individual who will immediately become an integral member of the team. You'll work closely with key members of our Development, QA, and Infra/Ops team in defining and enhancing our Cloud capabilities and DevOps program.
In this role, you will:
Design and maintain scalable, resilient, and cost-effective AWS cloud architectures. Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data security within cloud infrastructure. Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) across multiple environments. Automate build, test, and deployment processes for efficient delivery of software updates. Integrate Jenkins with BitBucket and other DevSecOps tools to streamline the development and release cycles. Implement monitoring solutions for performance and availability using AWS CloudWatch and similar tools. Set up alerts for potential issues to ensure proactive system monitoring and response. Ensure logging and monitoring practices are aligned with compliance and security standards. Implement security best practices across cloud environments, including encryption, least-privilege access control, and network security. Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and policies, including monitoring for vulnerabilities and performing regular audits. Manage identity and access management (IAM) roles and policies for secure access control. Assist in automating development, testing, and deployment workflows to ensure smooth integration into cloud.environments. Act as a technical escalation point for complex cloud infrastructure and pipeline issues. Provide hands-on support in resolving infrastructure problems, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum reliability.
What the role requires:
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, business, or related field 4+ years' experience architecting, building, and maintaining large complex cloud environments with a focus on secure design AWS Architect and AWS Security certifications or similar preferred Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms such as CloudFormation, Terraform, the AWS SDK/API Experience with Linux, Kubernetes or EKS, MySQL, Aurora are musts In depth knowledge of CI/CD: Jenkins, Pipelines, Bitbucket, Nexus is a must Proficient with automation tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc. Experience in IaaS / cloud providers: AWS, Azure Experience authoring security runbooks, policy, and best practice documentation Skilled in Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing (e.g., Veracode) Scripting and development skills (e.g., Groovy, BASH, Python or Java) with strong knowledge of regular expressions General networking and security troubleshooting (firewalls, routing, NAT, etc.) Exposure to log aggregation / management: Fluentd, Datadog, CloudWatch Desire to operate in an agile operating environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 and is determined by several factors including the candidate’s experience, qualifications and skills.
