Senior Campaign Manager
**Company description** _MSL_ Group South Africa is a renowned branding and marketing company, using PR led integrated communication and branding strategies. **Responsibilities** **Campaign management** + Work as part of an integrated portfolio of clients, reporting into an Account Director in MSL’s Influencer Practice + Identify, cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with a broad spectrum of influencers across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other relevant platforms + Collaborate with the team on all campaigns and activations to ensure alignment for maximum reach and results + Identify like-minded entities for brand partnerships and collaborations + Daily monitoring and reporting of competitive intel + Assist with creative conceptualization of campaigns + Assist with weekly and monthly campaign report + Monitoring the digital media news and content environment and demonstrate ability to identify relevant influencer opportunities and risks + Show excellent communication skills: express ideas and articulate concepts, recommendations, etc. in client or team meetings + Identify trend topics / events related to clients and suggest ways to participate + Utilise social listening tools to generate insights and suggest new ideas and tactics **Digital & Social Media** + Very strong understanding of social media as whole including development of social content for all main platforms + A deep understanding of social media dynamics including effective influencer engagement, live tweeting & posting from events, community management as well content schedule creation, management, and deployment + Effective use of each platform and delivery of appropriate content for each + Always abreast of social and digital trends to ensure effective approaches to developing content and management of the platforms + A clear understanding of the social media landscape + Eager to innovate and try new approaches to improve social media performance across all brands **Leadership** + Involvement in strategy development and implementation for the growth of the agency + Identify and motivate new ways of working, both creatively and operationally + Involvement in operational issues within MSL + Thrive in a team-base culture + Accurately debrief and manage outputs + Strong ability to relay instruction and manage outputs remotely as well as effectively of team members **Influencer** + Influencer engagement and management: Managing and engaging with influencers, this includes but is not limited to admin, day-to-day client service and project management of the influencers + Influencer outreach and discovery: Creating influencer suggestion lists based on the brief received from client + Influencer analysis: Conducting brand protect reports in order to establish the influencer fits the brand ideals of the client + Develop PR influencer-specific strategies to deliver positive corporate and Consumer and social / category growth + Draft pitches and event / program recaps + Assist in facilitating weekly and monthly campaign reports + Tracking all influencer posts including helping to create monthly recaps + Strengthen influencer relationships through outreach and partnerships + Day to day content reviews of influencer executions, working closely with our influencer agency partners, and our legal and social teams + Identify new influencer opportunities, such as event partnerships, up-and-coming influencers, and management platforms + Scaling our influencer program - including implementing management tools and processes and evolving strategies and approaches for success. + Routing and management of reviews and approvals through appropriate internal and external channels + Developing earned influencer relationships and programs that originate in organic and / or paid executions + Campaign admin and logistic including drafting of influencer contracts, vendor loading and payment processes. + Social Listening in order to identify online opportunities and to track campaign results. **Qualifications** + Degree / Diploma in relevant feild of studies + Extremely proficient in & Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) + Excellent verbal and written communication + 3-4 years in a similar role and within the Public Relations sectors + Meticulous attention to detail, resourceful, with a can-do attitude + Team player who thrives within a dynamic, fast-growing company + Good time management to meet deadlines and complete deliverables **Additional information** **Skills** + Quality: Consistently deliver quality work to MSL standards + Detail orientated: Execute unwavering attention to detail + Proactive upskilling: Display basic understanding of content for all clients, your client’s industry, staying abreast of news environment and spotting opportunities for media conversation building + Communication skills: Demonstrate excellent face-to-face, telephonic and email etiquette (internally and externally) + Time management: Effectively use and manage own time to meet deadlines and help AA/intern (if applicable) to manage time – always inform your team if you are falling behind on a task before it is due. + Prioritisation: Demonstrate excellent ability to prioritise tasks and apply urgency where needed + Taking initiative: Demonstrate proactive and positive contribution at all times and a self-starter approach + Computer skills: Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook (or other company-preferred applications) + Research: Demonstrate effective research skills and assimilation of information + Project management skills: Build ability to take responsibility for specific projects from start-to-end (if required) + Profile: Manage (and build) own profile within team and agency + Assist with creation, conception, and presentation of integrated communications campaigns + Interpret the direction of strategy / planning and creative leads + Monitoring the media (social and traditional) and demonstrate ability to identify topical issues relevant to clients on a consistent basis + Demonstrate an ability to apply communications techniques beyond media relations in response to client briefs, including viral and web PR techniques + Demonstrate ability to write persuasively, creatively pitch stories and identify / develop story opportunities + Lead journalist relationship-building initiatives within the team across various media sectors + Show excellent communication skills: express ideas and articulate concepts, recommendations, etc. in client or team meetings + Demonstrate a self-starter approach + Demonstrate innovation and creativity + Identify trend topics / events related to clients and suggest ways to participate + Utilise social listening tools to generate insights and suggest new ideas and tactics + Have knowledge of the various social media channels used by clients, generate content for these platforms, manage them according to client guidelines and nurture relationships with influencers + Manage events including preparation timelines + Attending events to manage influencers and the campaign. **Client services** + Client knowledge: Demonstrate constant efforts to grow understanding of client’s business and knowledge of competitors for effective idea generation + Creativity: Confidently contribute own ideas to planning or brainstorm meetings + Strong client-facing skills with ability to present and up sell to client + Regular status and update meetings with clients around work executed or to be briefed in + Strong ability to upsell and see new opportunities to evolve and increase offerings to clients. This would entail campaign ideas, influencer outreach ideas, community growth ideas & any other communication marketing ideas + Very strong organisational and heavy workload skills + Intercept and deliver all client instructions & deliverables accurately and effectively to team and vice-versa + Ability to generate as well interpret performance reports for clients + Demonstrate effective listening and interpretation of client instructions in meetings to debrief team **Additional Information** **Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
