A week in the life of a Senior C4ISR Engineer/Analyst:

Provide Developmental Test and Evaluation (DT&E) and Systems Engineering support of C4ISR and information systems software acquisition programs. Provide DT&E Assessments to Milestone Decision Authorities, Services, and Program Executive Officers. Review and assess Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), System Engineering Plans (SEPs), Lifecycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Acquisition Decision Memoranda (ADMs), Acquisition Baselines and Strategies, and other milestone decision documents. Observe and assess the adequacy of DT&E testing conducted on DoD major and software acquisition pathway programs. Evaluate test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks for program reviews. Provide working-level integrated product teams (WIPTs) DT&E and systems engineering support including Agile and DevSecOps software development approaches. Support Independent Technical Risk Assessments (ITRAs). Develop papers, reports, and briefings targeted to senior OSD decision makers. Assess and provide recommendations on DT&E policy
