The Opportunity

QVC Group is looking for a talented Senior Buyer to drive our growing world of Garden, Outdoor Living, Furniture, and Storage/Organization. This role will oversee both QVC & HSN networks. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for assembling seasonally appropriate merchandise assortments and identifying and developing key promotional business drivers. You'll build the business by identifying and executing strategies while collaborating with internal teams to maximize sales. This role is pivotal in translating strategies into compelling and achievable goals. You will work closely with the DMM and GMM and will be a lead influence within our private brand strategy as well as work with leading national brands in this space.

The Senior Buyer for Garden, Outdoor Living, Furniture, and Storage/Organization at QVC & HSN is one of the most influential buyer roles we're hiring for. In this position, you will have the opportunity to manage vendor relationships with large national brands, leading a team that inspires the discovery of new national brands and emerging entrepreneur businesses. You'll search for white space that engages and attracts our consumer, fostering an inspiring leadership environment dedicated to driving our team forward and adhering to our amazing principles.

Your Impact

Develop and execute omni-channel buying office strategies, manage day-to-day office functions, and support product development.Select and buy products, developing and executing product concepts, shows, brands, and ideas that align with business goals and Buying KPIs.Develop and nurture talent within Buying Teams centered around key differentiators (i.e., Assistant Buyer, Buyer I roles).Formulate and deliver multi-platform short and mid-range business plans that meet or exceed financial goals.Create multi-platform plans to drive sales, productivity, adjusted gross margin, TSV/TS achievement rates, and inventory plans, identifying growth areas while managing risks.Drive the buying strategy for both direct teams and cross-functional teams.Seek and analyze data from various sources to inform decision-making and align others with the buying strategy.Champion innovation, developing an entrepreneurial and creative approach to fostering new ideas that deliver results, accelerate product discovery, and explore emerging categories and product adjacencies.Develop high-performing teams guided by our principals.Inspire talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, celebrate diversity within the team, and manage performance. Cultivate skills and knowledge needed for high performance.

What You Bring

You have extensive experience in leadership, managing, inspiring, and empowering teams.Commitment to team development, motivation, and professional growth.Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a Retail Buying role or equivalent, with at least 3 years as a buyer.Proven ability to operate independently with limited supervision, exercising sound judgment.Strong relationship-building skills, with networks across the organization.
