This role requires strong supplier collaboration, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business needs. **What You Will Do** + Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely purchase order placement and order confirmations. + Communicate forecast requirements to suppliers and maintain accurate master data in transactional systems. + Act as the first point of contact for supplier issues, supporting Associate Buyers and Buyers with escalations. + Monitor supplier performance, track key KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. + Represent the purchasing function in cross-functional meetings and supplier discussions. + Identify supply chain risks and lead improvement projects internally and externally. + Support invoice resolution in collaboration with Accounts Payable. + Train and mentor team members, ensuring best practices in purchasing activities. **What You Need** Required: + Degree in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management. + Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Manufacturing. + Proficiency in written and spoken English (second language may be required based on supplier base). Preferred: + Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE. + Strong knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. + Prior experience in supplier relationship management and regulated industries (e.g., medical devices). + Understanding of continuous improvement and cost reduction methodologies.
