Senior (Business Tax Advisory)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough and accurate analyses of information. Research on urgent matters (e.g. Tax authority’s letters, other reliable platforms). Prepare practical and creative solutions to clients' tax situations. Reach appropriate conclusions, provide recommendations, and implement plans. Make quality decisions in complex and judgmental areas after consulting with others when necessary. Prepare clearly written memorandums, draft client correspondence, tax opinion letters, engagement reports, objections and appeal to tax authorities and Kazakhstan courts. Provision of tax advisory services to EY interoffices.

 

Requirements:

Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Tax, or Law. Advanced level of English. Strong writing, research, analytical, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of Kazakhstan taxation. Knowledge of accounting and familiarity with 1C and/or other ERP systems is a plus. Mandatory work experience: similar in Big4 – 3 years, industry – 5 years. Ability to work in a fast-paced professional services environment. High motivation to work and achieve in the field of Taxation. Positive attitude. Team player.
