About The Role

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to analyze complicated business scenarios, recommending automated solutions, processes, and procedures. Provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user and system requirements.  Create specifications for systems to meet business requirements.  Configure system settings and options; plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. 

About the team:

The application team works in close partnership with our Protiviti business to help support and manage their Financials ERP system. We pride ourselves with driving for exceptional customer and employee experiences.  Our Cloud hosted ERP system enables Protiviti to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, project management, time and expense processing, invoicing, budgeting, risk management and compliance.  The ERP suite also enables Protiviti to plan, budget, predict, and report on the organization’s financial results for North America, EMEA and the APAC regions.  Protiviti has an extraordinary number of new projects planned for the next few years, including the deployment of the current ERP system to all Protiviti operations. What You'll Do:

Create ad-hoc reports or queries in support of system functionality or user requirements.

Work with support groups to provide integrated system support.

Provide pre and post implementation support and enhancement/defect documentation as needed.

Provide maintenance and configuration of user tables.

Provides guidance to other BSA resources as a subject matter expert and/or project lead.

Assist development team with pre-QA testing.

Work with the business development and QS teams to confirm solutions meet business requirements

Develop and conduct system and user acceptance testing. Answer questions, resolve issues, clarify participate in planning.

Document, lead reviews, and obtain formal approval from business owners, development, and QA for requirements for new systems or enhancements.

Create functional and system requirements for changes and enhancements.

Ensure that business processes, policies, and procedures are supported by proposed system solutions.

Document different options for solutions.

Participate and Lead as a team member on special projects.

Collaborate with technical resources to resolve system issues.

Oversee and provide guidance to Level I-II Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners in all day-to-day application and production issues.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree, other technical training in business, or equivalent.

6+ years of business functional area experience.

MS Office Suite, Subject matter knowledge in a related line of business, SQL knowledge, complete SDLC lifecycle experience.

Extensive in-depth knowledge of multiple enterprise applications.

Ability to interact and communicate with customers of varying levels of expertise.

Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.

Ability to communicate business process to technical resources.

Ability to create complex process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow.

Ability to gather requirements and create test plans.

Ability to prioritize job responsibilities.

Knowledge of business systems software and software development lifecycle.

Ability to write complex queries and reports.

Ability to create project plans, meeting established deliverables and timelines.

Ability to perform fit/gap analysis on medium to large project initiatives. 

Adaptability and demonstrates good judgment.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.
