Senior Business Development Manager – Industrial Water Treatment

Mackenzie Stuart is collaborating with an expanding Water Chemical manufacturer to identify a Senior Business Development Manager for their Industrial Water Treatment Business Unit.

We are looking for candidates from Texas, PNW, Carolinas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Nebraska.

Candidates MUST HAVE experience selling to/managing commercial relationships.

Elevate market presence and boost the sales performance of chemicals and related water treatment services within targeted geographic and industry-centric sectorsOversee the marketing of wastewater treatment solutions to industrial clienteleDemonstrate knowledge of boilers, cooling towers and wastewater treatment systemsFormulate and execute the organization’s sales strategy tailored for industrial markets, ensuring seamless alignment with our broader business goals and objectivesTechnical discussions with clients to advise on which products to useBudgeting of sales forecast and revenue targetsRegular updates to the CEO for discussion of sales targets

Job Description:

Researching new business opportunities, including markets, trends, and partnershipsEstablishing contacts within organisations to facilitate business developmentGenerating leads and conducting cold calls to engage prospective customersMeeting customers/clients to understand needs and respond with strategic plansFostering strong relationships with customers/clients for long-term partnershipsThinking strategically and setting aims to drive business developmentPlanning strategically to implement operational changes aligned with goalsDrawing up client contracts in line with business objectives and standardsUnderstanding and advising on the company’s products or servicesCollaborating with the marketing department on promotional activitiesLiaising with finance, warehousing, and logistics departments as necessarySeeking ways to enhance operational efficiencyParticipating in seminars, conferences, and events to stay informed about industry trends

Requirements:

10+ years of practical experience in technical water treatment sales, key account management and business developmentWorking knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systemsBachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)Proven track record of successfully managing territories generating over $XM in revenueOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrated hunter mindset with an unwavering drive to capitalize on opportunities

Compensation:

Base SalaryCompany Car/ Car AllowanceCommissionPortion of the Net Profit
