Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Business Analyst to join our team that will deliver transformation solutions to our Industrial Engineering client. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our app modernization journey, leveraging their expertise in civil and structural engineering to drive innovative solutions and enhance operational efficiency. This individual needs to be located in Omaha, NE or willing to relocate and be onsite day 1.

Key Responsibilities:

App Modernization:

Play the functional lead and domain expert in the modernization of legacy applications, focusing on modern software practices such as modularization, scalability and extensibility, and improved user experience.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Ensure seamless transition to modern platforms with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.


Business Analysis:

Conduct detailed analysis of business requirements and translate them into software requirement specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions that align with business goals.

Create comprehensive documentation, including business cases, functional specifications, and user stories.

Engineering domain expertise is a must-have

PLS-CADD  Nice to have.


Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as a liaison between technical team and business users to ensure clear communication and understanding of project objectives.

Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and drive consensus among diverse groups.


User experience:

Ability to discuss and lead discovery conversations with users, for user experience.

Experience working with UI/UX designers to build optimal digital experiences for users, to improve efficiency and eliminate bottlenecks.
