Reporting to the Director of Applications, the Senior Business Analyst leads process design as part of the IT Architecture and Application function of The Wilbert Group. The Wilbert Group is a $250 million company with four industry-leading brands, 1,200 employee partners, 100 licensee partners, and 300+ points of distribution. This role is a member of the Wilbert IT Architecture and Application group which collectively owns responsibility for designing and documenting business processes and related requirements for all software applications that are in support of company objectives.

The Sr. Business Analyst at the Wilbert Group is responsible for helping achieve business goals by analyzing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations for enhancing business processes and structures. They act as a bridge between technical teams and business departments to ensure functional requirements meet business needs. This includes the facilitation of requirement gathering for both configured packaged software products and custom developed software solutions. This role will primarily be focused on a manufacturing and supply chain enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solution. This position is also accountable for developing test plans and test case execution. The position will serve as a technical subject matter expert on supported applications and assist in the training of end users. Guidance and mentoring of other team members in Business Analysis and Quality Assurance areas of specialization (on-boarding, skill-building, automated testing, etc.) will also be required. Key competencies for success include strong analytical and communication skills, process design and documentation, proficiency in Agile frameworks, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment. Excellent problem-solving and risk management abilities, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement are also essential for this role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience8+ years of similar or related professional experience, including business architecture or business analysis experience.Experience defining and diagraming business capabilities and related processes.Experience working with a manufacturing and supply chain enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solution, preferably Epicor Kinetic experience.Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and business processes.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels and build strong relationships with stakeholders and team members.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and analysis.Experience with process mapping and design tools.Experience with producing capability maps and capability roadmaps.Technical experience with SQL and other data integration patterns to understand system integrations and configuration.Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools.Experience documenting requirement is required, preferably with Agile Project Management tools, such as Azure Dev Ops or equivalent.Experience with Microsoft technologies is required.Ability to foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact.  Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Conduct Detailed Business Analysis:Identify business needs of stakeholders and develop solutions for business problems.Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and systems.Conduct gap analysis to identify areas for improvement.Design and Implement Strategies:Gather, review, and analyze data requirements.Create detailed Features and user stories that capture business requirements.Translate Business Needs:Convert business needs into technical requirements and assist in the design of technology solutions.Work closely with IT teams to ensure technical solutions align with business objectives.Develop use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.In the case of packaged software solutions, configure the system to meet the business requirements.Collaboration with Project Managers:Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.Participate in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Present Findings:Explain findings to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and dashboards.Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and drive consensus.Track and Document Changes:Manage changes to functional and business specifications.Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes and requirements.Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.Support Testing and Roll-Out:Play a key role in the testing and deployment of new software or technology solutions.Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts.Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure issues are resolved.Stay Updated:Continuously update capability map and roadmaps with knowledge on the latest industry trends and technologies.Participate in professional development activities, such as training and conferences.Share knowledge and best practices with team members and stakeholders.Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.Perform other duties as assigned.Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.Maintain effective communication with project teams and stakeholders.Show adaptability and problem-solving abilities in dynamic environments.Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.Promote and assist with process improvements that conform to industry practices.

Credentials and ExperienceBachelor of Science degree Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and a minimum 8 years related experience in a progression of positions required, including at least 8 of these years in a Business Architect or Business Analyst role.
