Job Overview and Responsibilities:

The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements by providing strategic insights and recommendations for business improvement. In this role you will facilitate the development of solutions that effectively meet business needs. The role involves working closely with partners to define and prioritize business requirements and ensure that the solutions developed by IT align with business strategy.

This role emphasizes deep understanding of finance, partner collaboration, and the use of predictive analytics to enhance analytics and decision-making.

Business Insights and Analysis:Conduct deep-dive analyses into complex financial data to uncover trends and deliver actionable insightsApply predictive analytics to forecast future financial scenarios and guide on potential business impactsTool Proficiency:Effectively use analytical tools such as Power BI, OBIEE, Oracle Analytics, and Data Bricks to gather and interpret data, supporting business decision-making.Collaboration with Partners:Work directly with business units, including finance and operational teams, to define data requirements and business objectivesTranslate business needs into analytical projectsCollaborate with developers to ensure that financial analytics tools and systems are developed in alignment with both the technical roadmaps and business strategiesProject Management and Methodology:Use Agile methodologies to manage multiple analytics projects, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and timely delivery of outcomesPresentation and Reporting:Prepare and present reports to senior management detailing findings, with clear visualizations and strategic recommendations to guide business decisionsSimplify the communication bridge between finance collaborators and technical teams to support effective implementation and ongoing enhancements
