Senior Business Analyst, Token Analyst

Position Overview  

We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Business Analyst to join the Enterprise Token Team in our Finance Organization at Autodesk. This position requires collaboration with a variety of technical, financial, and business teams, making it a highly technical and strategic role. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in bolstering the reporting and analytics tools used by our Enterprise Customer Success, Sales, and Finance teams. Primarily, the focus will be on improving the robustness, reliability, and range of the underlying data models in Snowflake used for reporting and analytics purposes. This role will report directly to the Senior Finance Manager of the Business Architecture Organization.  

Responsibilities 

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Snowflake's underlying data models using SQL

Design scalable, multidimensional data models that transform raw data into actionable insights for the finance department

Translate business requirements into technical specifications and establish implementation schedules

Implement, uphold, and regulate data governance for reporting data models 

Collaborate with technical teams to address data accuracy and table design issues

Develop, manage, and enhance PowerBI reports, using Snowflake as the base

Design and prepare presentation-ready dashboards, custom charts, and calculations in PowerBI to meet specific requirements

Conduct detailed analysis using SQL or Python to facilitate business decisions 

Minimum Qualifications  

5 years’ experience in analytics and/or data engineering

Experience leading data projects requiring collaboration with data engineering teams

Expert at SQL including advanced queries, table design, and stored procedures

Advanced skills in data visualization, data modeling, and automation

Detail-oriented with the capacity to convey information at an appropriate level, tailored to the audience, including Finance and Business Partners

Strong analytical ability, understanding data processes and their connection to the organization's strategy and objectives

Capability to work both independently and collaboratively as required

Ability to handle ambiguity and open-ended questions effectively

A positive and self-driven attitude

Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of acting as a mentor

Enthusiasm for working within a global team context 

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Power BI, Teams, and PowerPoint

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $108,800 and $176,000. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
