**Position Summary:**
The Senior Brand Manager provides delivery of annual financial/marketplace targets through leading and assisting in the development and setting the direction for the Annual Operating Plan (“AOP”). Responsible for developing brand vision as a result of the strategic planning process and leads the branded strategic planning process. Sets and tracks brand(s) budgets based on AOP and owns decision for any out of plan activity that impacts the budget. Analyzes all elements of the P&L, sets direction, and makes decisions to achieve financial/marketplace outcomes. Focused on brand equity and translates strategic consumer insights into meaningful marketing activation plans.
In addition, they will develop and manage the long-term innovation pipeline to align with Brand, Channel and Business strategies and establish launch strategies that deliver volume and margin goals. This requires translating strategic consumer and category insights into a meaningful innovation that drives growth.

**Responsibilities:**
**50%** **Planning and P&L Management:**
+ Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for brand/portfolio(s) and the 3-year strategic planning process.
+ Create and execute robust marketing plans to deliver financial targets: media/activation plans, sales material (progressive selling decks, sell sheets, etc.), packaging, merchandising (display units and mix), product assortment/distribution, pricing, etc.
+ Delivery of annual financial targets for assigned brands/portfolio(s) according to plan. Manage and deliver on all lines of the P&L (volume, net sales, gross margin, A&P). Proactively recommend corrective action if necessary.
+ Solid understanding and use of consumer insights and competitive analysis.
+ Implement a consumer-centric approach to drive brand growth, from identifying insights to turning them into action plans.
+ Identify and drive implementation of revenue growth management activities with support from cross-functional team members.
+ Develop, align and lead growth strategy initiatives, including the base business and innovations.
+ Align business processes, drive priorities, and initiatives across assigned brands/ portfolio(s) to create seamless integration and deliver growth.
+ Collaborate efficiently with the cross-functional team, including the Commercial Strategy and Revenue Growth Management, to ensure GTM strategies and trade spend effectiveness is being followed and executed.
+ Support Commerce/Shopper Marketing team to ensure flawless in-store and digital programs are executed on brands/ portfolio(s) and business objectives are met.
**25% - Strategic Planning/Innovation Management:**
+ Build and execute a 3-year innovation pipeline that support vision, business objectives and strategic plan for both brand(s) and total Conagra (include true innovations, renovations, line extensions, channel expansion, pack size architecture, etc.)
+ Collaborate closely with Demand Sciences partners (consumer insights) to Identify, evaluate & validate Canadian white space opportunities and build robust innovation plan to achieve the brand(s) vision.
+ Lead innovation projects with cross functional team and build robust projects using insights and market data, following Conagra’s commercialization process, ensuring launches are executed in full, on time.
+ Ensure successful presentations of innovation projects to leadership team to get alignment
+ Leverage US led innovation for Canadian brand expansion & development, ensuring close collaboration with the US brand counterparts.
+ Work closely with Commercial strategy and Demand Sciences teams on the commercialization process, ensuring Sales team is provided with what’s needed to support their customer sell-in: progressive selling decks, sell sheets, sales samples, etc.
+ Conduct market visits regularly to monitor brand(s) performance and stay updated with competitive new entries, challenges and opportunities.
**20% - Coaching & Development:**
+ Support direct report in the day-to-day, setting up a clear vision and objectives and ensuring projects are progressing within the brand(s) vision and targets.
+ Coach and mentor direct report and support them in their career progression with a focus on developing their skills.
**5% - Admin Tasks:**
+ Manage and oversee total brand/ portfolio(s) A&P spending to ensure spend is within specified budget(s)
+ Ensure all projects are gated within Conagra’s innovation system and all steps are executed on time and with high rigor.
+ Assist Marketing team and/or Director with process enhancement projects, as required.
**Potential Career Progression:**
+ Promotional opportunities within the Marketing organization
+ Lateral career opportunities to other Brand portfolios, Commerce/Shopper Marketing, Demand Sciences or across cross-functional teams.
**Qualifications, Education & Experience:**
+ 7+ years experience in Brand management within Consumer Packaged Goods, ideally in Tier 1 food manufacturing. Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a strong plus.
+ Successful experience in developing and executing marketing programs, brief writing, and managing P&L’s
+ Proven ability to deliver initiatives that have been realized and contributed significant gains in the capture of market share, revenue and volume growth, and operational efficiencies.
+ Demonstrated success anticipating future business opportunities or problems and developing strategies that address them proactively.
+ Experience in leading innovations and managing the entire commercialization process.
+ Ability to make sound business decisions that balance a variety of factors in a complex operating environment and ultimately achieve optimal outcomes.
+ Good strategic and analytic capabilities. Comfortable utilizing data to support business decisions.
+ Experience working with a cross function team including sales finance and manufacturing teams, and with external agency partners.
+ Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to function effectively as a leader and in a team environment.

**Compensation:**
Pay Range:$96,000-$143,000
_The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees._
