Overview Description
Hire Resolve’s Client is excited to offer an opportunity for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our esteemed client in their finance department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting practices, with a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payments Maintain the general ledger and conduct monthly reconciliations Prepare financial statements and reports for management review Manage payroll and ensure compliance with tax obligations Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures Coordinate with external auditors and resolve any discrepancies Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a corporate setting Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Proficient in both English and Afrikaans Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Benefits
