Role description:

You will join our global Structural Engineering team, where our projects and development opportunities can fit various ambitions from 3D modeling and parametric design to Operate & Maintain digital methods. The delivery is secured through global collaboration platforms like BIM360, which allows engineers across various offices to work together seamlessly while maintaining clear visibility for our clients.

Role accountabilities:

· Execute 3D modelling in a CDE (Common Data Environment) with limited supervision;

· Collaborate with other team members to deliver project requirements;

· Expand understanding of the business benefits and build working relationships with regional colleagues;

· Play a central role in the production of project BIM deliverables including 3D models that are accurate and developed in compliance with the relevant Arcadis project BIM Execution Plan (BEP).

· Output BIM models and interface with drafting teams to enable drawings to be produced based on BIM models;

· Deliver work that meets client and Arcadis requirements (as set out in the BEP);

· Develop BIM models based on inputs from engineers;

· Adding data to the model and generate graphical and (alpha) numerical outputs;

· Provide modelling guidance to other members of the BIM team;

· Contribute to the resolution of modelling issues on projects;

· Work with other design disciplines to ensure the integration of the overall design or solution;

· Undertake production checking, of work in progress to ensure that it meets design intent;

· Successfully complete assigned BIM modelling work within budget and deadlines;

· Commit to receiving on the job technical training by performing tasks, which are under the direct supervision of more experienced staff within well-defined limits;

· Participate and contribute to knowledge network to support Arcadis knowledge sharing;

· Contribute to internal CPD by presenting experiences at internal sessions;

· Work with a Mentor to develop technical excellence to high standards;

· Actively ensure compliance with the BIM Execution Plan. Promote use of BEP to other team members;

· Present 3-dimensional representations of the model in suitable formats (e.g visualizations) when requested;

· Make optimal use of software capabilities and making suggestions for expanding and development of software tools and/or adjustments of the BIM Model;

· Make drafts estimate and analyses that are based on and/or will be transferred to the BIM environment;

· Inform and advise involved parties about the use of data and application of output;

· Support Arcadis BIM leadership in implementation of Arcadis BIM policy;

· Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time as directed by your line manager or Arcadis;

· Ensuring you are familiar and compliant with Health and Safety regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience:

Mandatory:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering;

· Good English skills;

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

· Good Revit, AutoCAD skills;

· Can quickly adopt to drawing standards.

Nice to have:

· French language would be a big plus;

· 4 years of experience working with relevant BIM Software on BIM projects;

· Overseas Experience (work in other countries or project design outsourcing company).
