Spurwink Services is seeking a full-time Senior Billing Representative for our large mental health agency. The id eal candidate will have five or more years experience with Medicare, MaineCare, and other third - party payers. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively is a must, as are excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Candidate must possess a willingness to work in a team-oriented environment. This position has a Monday through Friday schedule and pays $23.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience. DUTIES: + Prepare, process, and submit billings for the entire Agency and perform all core functions. + Assist with follow-up on accounts past due or denied for payment. + MaineCare Authorization Import. + Assistance with research and resolution of credit balances. + Assist in A/R-related matters for the year-end audit, internal QA audits or audits by third-party funding agencies. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent and five or more years experience in Clinical/Medical billing and collections required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Necessary: Ideal candidate will have two or more years experience with Medicare, Maine Care, and other third-party payers.
