We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Backend Developer with expertise in Python and Go to join our team. In this role, you will focus on implementing complex backend systems that enhance Guardicore's (Akamai Microsegmentation) capabilities.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, developing and enhancing complex backend systems, including security features like API security enhancements, robust authorization implementations, strong input validation, etc.Integrating dynamic secret retrieval mechanisms into applications, focusing on secret rotation and security best practices.Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure systems.Reviewing and remediate security issues found by security tools on the code to reduce the exposed risk of our applications.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have proven and extensive of experience as a backend developer with a focus on Python and Go.Have proven experience building complex systems and implementing secure coding practices.Have experience working in microservices architectures and distributed systems.Have great understanding of API design, scalability, and system performance optimization.Have knowledge of security concepts, including secure application development/S-SDLC (Secure Development Lifecycle).Experience working with containerized environments and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).Have exposure to DevSecOps practices and security-focused development workflows.Have Cloud experience (GCP or other platforms) and IaC knowledge (e.g., Terraform).
