The Digital Hub Kuala Lumpur is one of our global key locations to deliver regional and global solutions for BASF. In our SCOTT Solutions unit, you will support our customers on complex IT application topics in the area of sustainability and directly contribute to BASF's strategic path towards net zero.From the beginning you will be responsible of solving practical challenges that our internal partners face using state-of-the-art technology and methods.The team has a portfolio of solutions in productive use as well as in development. The technology setup is a BASF private azure with Kubernetes hosting containerized web applications written in python and java script.

Requirements

 

Education

 

University graduate, majoring in Information Technology or Digitalization

 

Working Experience

More than 5 years professional experience in an IT environment

 

Technical & Professional Knowledge (Mandatory)

 

Proven experience as a Senior Backend DeveloperStrong expertise in Python (fastAPI, Pandas, celery)Database skills, particularly Postgres and HANAKnowledge of CI/CD DevOps framework and version control systems (for example GIT)Familiarity with GitHub CopilotGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishTeam player with high willingness to learn, a positive attitude, as well as experience working in global and diverse teams
