Responsibilities
Our client is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Architect responsible for the design, architecture, and implementation of technology solutions to support enterprise infrastructure. The Senior Azure Cloud Architect will ensure that all systems are optimized and support the development of new technologies and system requirements. The role requires extensive experience with technical architecture discussions and Datacenter migrations, as well as mentorship and client support.
Analyze existing systems for security and performance, ensuring they meet organizational needsIdentify opportunities to integrate new hardware, operating systems, or connectivity solutions and document solution designsLead the design and delivery of infrastructure platform solutions related to cloud, server, network, storage, and data center managementOversee system architecture review processes and develop technical designs for integration and implementationCreate detailed plans for integrating new systems into existing infrastructureServe as the escalation point for Microsoft Azure client support tickets and lead technical training sessionsRequirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise engineeringExpertise in Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, BCDR, Security, Management, Storage, and NetworkingA Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is requiredAbility to assess Azure platform issues, automate troubleshooting, and explore diagnostic opportunitiesExperience with large data centers and technology transformation projectsWorking knowledge of cloud platforms, virtualization, data protection, and access managementExperience in migrating Windows and Linux servers to Azure and using tools such as Commvault, ASR, and PowerShellStrong knowledge of Windows Server (2008-2019), Active Directory, and Azure ADFamiliarity with Linux operating systems, Hyper-V, and VMWareStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Requirements
Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) certification preferredAWS migration experience is a plusEducation/Certification Requirements
