Senior Associate with practice management experience to join close-knit East London design studio
About this role

As a Senior Associate, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing a variety of projects. You will work closely with the director to develop, produce, and manage projects, ensuring effective coordination with the team, sub-consultants, and clients. Your role will involve strategic planning, research, and process management, making you an integral part of the practice’s growth. You will also be involved in mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage building, masterplans, and heritage site projects. Collaborate closely with the director on strategic masterplanning. Develop, produce, and manage project plans and timelines. Coordinate and follow up with the project team, sub-consultants, and clients. Handle multiple projects concurrently with a structured and organised approach. Solve problems proactively and maintain a diplomatic and professional attitude.  

Skills and Experience:

Multiple years post-Part 3 experience in practice. Proven experience running projects across all RIBA stages, ideally civic projects. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Strong multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage several projects at once. Proactive problem solver with a structured approach to work. Competent in CAD, ideally MicroStation. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite. Fluent in spoken and written English.
