Our Strategy Consultants work with client and project teams to support global engagements from India, focusing on delivering impactful results. Their responsibilities include conducting analyses and developing insights, preparing analytical models, analyzing large data sets, and understanding how digital solutions can address client pain points. They capture current processes, prepare work plans, design to-be processes, work directly with client teams and facilitate meetings to enable decision making. Additionally, they organize and prepare recommendations on client issues and participate actively in new business development, thought leadership and firm building activities. 

Competency Overview: Transformation - Enterprise Strategy & Value (ESV) 

 

The ESV team collaborates with clients to examine their value chains, identify powerful sources of differentiation and reconstruct their business to drive maximum value. The ESV competency is a team of problem-solvers who assist clients with complex business problems, from strategy through execution. The team’s engagements are targeted at driving enterprise value by re-imagining operating models and processes through core capabilities. 

The team seamlessly integrates the roles of strategist and technologist, designing and creating innovative growth models that incorporate technology at every stage. As digital and emerging technologies continue to reshape industries, our community of problem solvers engage with client teams to ensure alignment of people, processes and infrastructure 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Job responsibilities mainly include activities driven towards inspiring other team members and delivering results - conduct analyses and develop insights, create financial models, analyze large sets of data, work directly with project teams and facilitate meetings to enable decision making, lead analysis and client conversations, organize and prepare recommendations to address client problems, and participate actively in new business development, thought leadership and firm building activities.  

 

Depending on the project, the incumbent will be involved throughout the project life cycle, adding value during the problem structuring and analysis phases. Responsibilities include understanding client’s business & digital capabilities, client context, assessing current organization structure and operating model, conducting end-to-end value chain diagnostics to unlock levers that can produce sustained performance improvement. Additionally, the role involves designing a future state digital-led structure, incorporating emerging technologies and innovative solutions, and enabling change management to ensure seamless integration and adoption of new processes  

 

Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and / or knowledge in any sector across the following areas: 

 

Problem-solve complex business challenges across diverse technology platforms, applying a holistic approach to align technical solutions with business value drivers 

Analyze the client's business model, key processes, pain points, and business goals to identify areas for transformation and growth  

Design high-impact digital and product operating models, aligned with the client's strategic vision, and develop roadmaps for implementation 

Gather and interpret business requirements to craft insights and strategies, aligning digital initiatives with overarching business goals and client success metrics 

Facilitate collaboration between technical and business stakeholders, ensuring solutions are both technically robust and achieve strategic goals 

Recommend relevant digital solutions to support the reimagining of processes, targeting greater business performance and agility 

Set guiding principles and frameworks for a digital factory model, enabling scalable enterprise-wide transformation with reusable digital assets and tools 

Deconstruct and map out current processes to streamline operations, optimize workflows, and enhance the customer experience through targeted digital interventions 

 

What skill does it take? 

Proven industry and strategy consulting skills while working collaboratively with business stakeholders and project teams to deliver measurable results 

Strong and effective storytelling and communication skills (written and verbal) tailored to various situations and audiences 

Synthesizing complex information and generate meaningful insights based on analysis of client’s data and information from primary and secondary research 

Self-driven to keep pace with leading business and technology trends and ability to articulate associated strategic implications across one or multiple industries 

Leading project work streams and working autonomously with minimal direction 

A technology mindset and working understanding of digital tools, assets and accelerators 

Experience with data analysis, modeling and visualization using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Visio, Visual Basic, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx or other tools 

Understanding of project management tools, JIRA and Confluence
