As part of the **Global Merchant & Network Services group (GMNS)** , the Network & Acquirer Solutions (NAS) team is at the core of American Express, uniquely positioned to support every business unit and customer across the Enterprise. We are driving a strategic, multi-year Enterprise Payments program to bring all payments together into a Centre of Excellence to drive operational and technical excellence in payment execution to ultimately drive new revenue, relevance and opportunities for the business. **Role Overview:** The role of Senior Associate, Business Analysis is an exciting opportunity for a talented Business Analyst to support Discovery & Transformation of new payment capabilities. You will focus on supporting a team of Senior Business Analysts for the Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence priorities, bridging the gap between business and technology by interpreting business requirements into capability needs for technical delivery. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Analysis – Discovery & Transformation, you will help to reshape and transform how payment products are built and delivered at American Express. You will collaborate with product delivery owners, architects, and business stakeholders to bring the product vision to life. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to demonstrate their strong analytical skills and develop strategic thinking, operating as a core member of a large modernization program and developing innovative payment capabilities. **Job Responsibilities:** + Support Senior Managers leading the discovery & transformation efforts for the Enterprise Payments Centre of Excellence + Collaborate with business partners to understand and document business requirements, clarify development scope and associated business value, as well as dependencies + Analyse and document business processes and customer journeys + Support Senior Managers to develop presentations materials for colleagues and Senior Leadership + Develop a technical understanding of Enterprise Money Movement and its capabilities **Qualifications** **R** **equired Qualifications:** + Strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly articulate complexities + Experience eliciting, articulating and documenting business requirements + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills – ability to navigate cross functional teams to deliver on shared objectives + High intellectual curiosity, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills. + Driving results and collaborating in a cross-functional and global environment + Flexibility in supporting various time zones, as this role supports global initiatives **Preferred Qualifications but not essential:** + Expertise in Account-to-Account Payments, Authorization, Clearing & Settlement, and Payment processing + Experience with Agile Delivery Framework **Qualifications** Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
