As a Business Analyst specializing in the aerospace industry, gathering, analyzing, and interpreting consumer data to provide valuable insights and recommendations that enhance business decision-making processes. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify behavior, identifying opportunities, trends, mitigating risks, and optimizing performance across various business functions, helping the organization align its strategies with customer needs and preferences.
Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence:
Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats within the aerospace industry.
Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement through data-driven analysis.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.
Monitor competitors' activities, market share, and product offerings to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.
Analyze customer needs, preferences, and purchasing behaviors to drive product development and marketing strategies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define success criteria for digital projects.
Document business processes, user stories, and functional requirements to guide the development and implementation of digital solutions.
Ensure alignment between business needs and technical capabilities throughout the project lifecycle.
Financial Analysis and Performance Metrics:
Analyze financial data, including revenue, costs, and profitability, to assess the performance of aerospace projects and business units.
Develop financial models, forecasts.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and margin improvement through data-driven analysis.
Project Management and Performance Tracking:
Support aerospace projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
Track project progress, milestones, and key performance indicators (KPIs), and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Identify project risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact and ensure successful outcomes.
Business Process Improvement and Optimization:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks in aerospace business processes.
Propose and implement process improvements, automation initiatives, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
Leverage data analytics and technology solutions to optimize supply chain management, manufacturing operations, and aftermarket services
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, business administration, finance, statistics . Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
Proven experience as a business analyst or management consultant in the aerospace industry.
In-depth knowledge of aerospace business processes, regulations, and market dynamics.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial analysis, data modeling, and statistical methods.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Must Have - Past experience in with Aerospace companies
