Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced App Security Specialist with 6 to 9 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Project Management APIGEE and API Work Model. This hybrid position requires a proactive individual who can ensure the security of our applications while working closely with cross-functional teams. The role is crucial in safeguarding our digital assets and contributing to the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of application security policies and procedures.Oversee the security aspects of API development and integration using APIGEE.Provide expert guidance on secure coding practices to development teams.Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability testing on applications.Collaborate with project management teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into project plans.Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches in a timely manner.Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for staff.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.Work closely with IT and development teams to identify and mitigate security risks.Implement and manage security tools and technologies to enhance application security.Provide detailed reports and recommendations on security findings to senior management.Stay updated with the latest security trends threats and technologies.Contribute to the continuous improvement of the organizations security posture.

Qualifications

Possess a strong background in Project Management demonstrating the ability to manage security-focused projects effectively.Have extensive experience with APIGEE showcasing the ability to secure API integrations and manage API gateways.Demonstrate proficiency in API Work Model ensuring secure and efficient API development and deployment.Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills particularly in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities.Show strong communication skills capable of conveying complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Have a proactive approach to staying updated with the latest security trends and technologies.Display a collaborative mindset working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve security objectives.

Certifications Required

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) APIGEE Certification
