Within Advisory, PwC has a large team to focus on transformation in Government sector through
Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients
and bring about a change in society. The candidate will be expected to work pro-actively and
effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the project
delivery he/she entrusted with.
Broad Roles / Responsibilities
 Engage with Government clients to understand their needs and technical requirements
 Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' current IT processes and infrastructure
 Conceptualize the IT solution landscape, implementation model, and procurement model for IT
projects
 Manage large IT Transformation projects in the Government ecosystem
 Drive complex Digital Transformation initiatives in a multi stakeholder environment
 Oversee the implementation of the agreed IT architecture and Infrastructure
 Client handling, stakeholder management, program management, vendor management,
business process re-engineering
 Identify and prioritize opportunities for technology improvements and innovations
 Provide training and support to clients' staff on new technologies and systems
 Communicate project status, risks, and issues to clients and senior management regularly
 Document project processes, decisions, and outcomes for future reference and improvement
 Provide technical guidance and support to clients and internal teams
 Demonstrate extensive knowledge of governmental procurement procedures
 Exhibit proficiency in bid management, coordinating with client teams to ensure compliance
and accuracy
 Provide guidance and strategic inputs on various technology solutions that meet government
client requirements
 Engage extensively in program management operations, driving project delivery timelines,
budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
 Support in business development initiatives including responding to government RFPs and
developing new solutions for clients.
Broad Experience & Expertise Requirements
 Minimum 6 years of work experience with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in
Technology/Government consulting or similar e-Governance assignments in large scale
projects in India
Specific Past Work Experience Requirements

 Bid Process Management, Government Procurement, Technology Consulting, e-Governance.
 Proven experience as an IT Consultant or similar role, with a track record of successful IT
project deliveries.
 Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure

Educational Qualifications
Certifications (in software)
 B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA /M. Tech. full time
 MBA from a reputed college
 Educational background in Information Technology, Engineering, or related fields is preferred.
Personality traits (a must)
 Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to
non-technical stakeholders.
 Proficiency in IT project management tools and software.
 Ability to work with ambiguity. Taking a systematic, structured view of situations.
 Ability to interact with client (senior government officials)
