Job Description

We’re searching for a Senior Associate of Human Resources who loves to succeed in an environment fueled by creativity, innovation and continuous evolution. They would be the “go to” person in supporting our culture, employees, and capabilities within the Birmingham office. This Senior Associate will be focused on continuous improvement of their craft. They should always think about ways to make our work better and support our employees in their pursuit of the best work in the industry.

Core responsibilities include:

Lead HR-driven programs that will result in positive change for our culture and individual employee opportunity/growthPartner with national HR team to execute ad hoc projects to promote a high performance cultureOwns the on-boarding of new hires, which includes but not limited to orientation presentation, updates and improvements to the on-boarding program.Oversees day-to-day administration and routine maintenance of assigned HR programs/HRIS systems, such as leave of absence, HRIS updates, performance management system changes, T&E and Ad Hoc reportsMaintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and ensuring regulatory compliance. Actively comply with our internal HR policy guidelines.Respond to all employee questions and concerns in a timely and thorough mannerPartner with managers to ensure we are engaging and retaining top talentPartner with centralized benefits and payroll to communicate programs and policy changesHelp educate and encourage managers to support the value of our diversity and inclusion initiativesEffectively manage miscellaneous HR administrative processes

QualificationsFour year degree (Major in human resources desirable)2-3 years human resources experienceAbility to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentHigh degree of focus on corporate business/culture needs, customer satisfaction and quality orientationAbility to collaborate across capablitliies as well as within the People Team functionExcellent interpersonal/networking/relationship-building skillsExcellent negotiation and problem solving skillsTeam orientedStrong understanding of HR, legal and labor issuesSolid understanding of performance management and compensation principlesExcellent oral and written communication skills, detail orientedProficiency in MS Office
