Stantec has a diverse network of specialists in Australia collaborating across business lines and geographies to ensure the best outcomes are achieved for our clients.  Our asset management and business advisory specialists deliver strategic, tactical and operational advisory services to clients responsible for essential community services and management of significant infrastructure portfolios. Growth in our project pipeline affords the opportunity to further expand our group.  We are seeking an asset management advisory professional, based in Melbourne, with a passion for change, innovation, and collaboration. 

Our Asset Strategies group, reporting through our Water business line, delivers advisory services across multiple sectors including water, transport and facilities management.  The Asset Strategies group has capability spread across the eastern seaboard and continues to grow. We are looking for a senior or principal level consultant to join our Melbourne office.

About the roles:

The position available will play an integral role amongst a diverse group of highly skilled professionals, that provide advisory services to deliver asset management excellence for our clients. You will join a dynamic and skilled group that works on strategic, tactical and operational projects across Australia, with a primary focus on Victorian water clients.

Specifically, your duties may include:

·       Developing frameworks, plans, reports and tools for various stages of the asset lifecycle (e.g., strategic asset management plans, asset management plans, asset lifecycle models, and documenting the outcomes of reviews or audits)

·       Conducting maturity assessments against ISO 55001 requirements and developing continuous improvement programs to drive client capability building.

·       Managing or overseeing asset data collection and analysis, particularly for water and wastewater assets.

·       Complex data analyses, risk assessments and asset lifecycle modelling to develop forward maintenance and renewal programs, particularly for water and wastewater assets.

·       Economic analyses and business case development.

·       Sustaining existing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

·       Undertaking research and investigation to determine commercial solutions for clients.

·       Project management and quality review functions, ensuring work is of a technically high standard and delivered within time and budget constraints.

 

What will you bring to the Asset Strategies team?

·       Tertiary qualification in Engineering or another relevant discipline. A dual or post graduate qualification in Business Management, Finance or Economics will be well regarded.

·       Demonstrated experience in asset management and the provision of infrastructure advisory services. Experience with water and wastewater assets is favourable; however, we are open to considering experience in all asset-intensive sectors.

·       Well-developed report writing skills.

·       Well-developed communication and negotiation skills.

·       Demonstrated project management experience, for advisory service projects.

·       Research skills and the ability to interact with and deliver technical information to clients.
