Architecture plays a central design role in Arup’s ambition to deliver truly sustainable development. This role will collaborate with clients and colleagues in key focus markets including transport, urban infrastructure, energy, and water. The Opportunity

The Senior Architect role in our Melbourne team will suit a candidate with great design, technical and delivery skills across a range of large and complex building typologies. The role will work within a multidisciplinary environment designing, documenting and delivering sustainable architecture, including:

·       Lead and work as part of a design team on architectural design and planning for building projects, showcasing expertise in architectural design

·       Develop comprehensive design concepts, layouts, and schematic drawing  

·       Lead the creation of detailed design models for architectural projects, showcasing expertise in design modelling.

·       Collaborate closely with project teams to visualize and refine design concepts, utilizing modelling software and tools to develop intricate 3D representations.


Is this role right for you?

·       Recognised Masters of Architecture or similar relevant qualifications;

·       Registered Architect in Australia, or equivalent International professional qualification, with intent and ability to register in Victoria.

·       Relevant experience working within design firms, with demonstrable track record delivering architecture projects through all work stages in rail, industry, technology, energy or water sectors.

·       Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite and other design and presentation software.
