Applications Engineers demonstrate the highest level of technical capability and engineering skills as they ensure NI and customer success! Applications Engineers serve as trusted consultants who stay abreast of industry and technology trends. Successful Applications Engineers optimally balance time between customer and internal activities that leverage their knowledge of NI products and customer applications.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Provide test and measurement system design consulting for Aerospace/Defense customers in collaboration with the Sales team
· Build technology demonstrator systems and application notes in collaboration with Aerospace/Defense Business Managers and R&D team
· Collect Voice of the Customer feedback for R&D development team

· Bachelor's degree in STEM-related
· 4 years of electronics or RF test engineering experience
· Availability to travel up to 20%
· Legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Aerospace/Defense test engineering experience
· Experience implementing test and measurement systems using PXI systems with LabVIEW/LabVIEW FPGA or Python software development toolchains
