Senior Application Specialist - Test & Measurement - ADG
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** + Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key accounts, encouraging confidence in NI's platform. + Understand customer technical requirements and recommend the appropriate software & hardware solutions. + Collaborate with account teams, taking the lead on technical strategies for the accounts. + Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and addressing future customer technical needs. + Act as the voice of the customer, influencing NI’s technical direction and product development. **Who You Are:** + Passionate about solving complex technical problems and have a customer-centric approach. + You excel in a fast-paced setting and accept new opportunities. + Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience. + Self-motivated, a quick learner, and have a strong desire to grow in a customer-facing engineering role. **For This Role, You Will Need:** + An undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, or math). + A minimum of 8+ years of work experience in the test and measurement industry. + At least 5 years of proven experience in the aerospace and defense industries, especially in a customer-facing role. + Experience collaborating closely with sales teams and communicating technical information to customers. + Solid knowledge of automated test software and hardware platforms. + Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with proficiency in English. + Willingness and ability to travel within India (~50%) and occasionally to APAC and the US (~5%). **Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:** + A background in electronics and communication or mechatronics or automotive engineering. + Hands-on experience with RF fundamentals and measurements. + Proficiency in software tools such as NI LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, and software design patterns. + Certifications in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand development patterns. + Experience in FPGA programming and fixed-point algorithm development. **Our Culture & Commitment to You:** At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
